SSR Mining – Seabee Gold Operation (SGO) is hiring for a Safety & Training Advisor – Mill.
Reporting to the Superintendent, Safety & Training, the Safety & Training Advisor – Mill will be responsible for providing mill training and other specialized training for all site personnel. You will collaborate with and create training programs, liaise with Mill Operations to improve training and safety, and assess surface operations.
This position has a schedule of two (2) weeks on, two (2) weeks off at our remote camp in northern Saskatchewan, working 11‑hour days with possibility of unscheduled overtime on occasion. You will be required to fly in fly out of the site on designated days from a pick‑up point in either Saskatoon, Prince Albert or La Ronge.
Drug (including marijuana) and alcohol substance testing is a requirement for all positions. Applicants who have recently used marijuana recreationally may not pass a substance test as marijuana can remain in the user’s system for as many as 30 days after use.
