Job summary

Airbus Atlantique Canada Inc. in Mirabel is seeking an Operational Logistics Coordinator to drive Kanban and USM processes, monitor KPIs and contribute to shop floor projects.

Under supervision, you will manage Kanban and USM ERP parameterization, perform cycle counts, support continuous improvement and cooperate with engineering, quality and production teams.

Requirements include a DEC in Logistics, 2–5 years of experience, French mastery, SAP and Google Workspace proficiency.

• DEC in Logistics, warehousing or handling.
• 2–5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Knowledge of Google Workspace and SAP.
• Fluency in French.

Responsibilities

• Kanban Management: handle Kanban for hardware and fasteners; set bin size, batch quantity, min/max; ensure 5S in Kanban zone.
• USM Management: oversee Mobile Servicing Units and QC activities; perform cycle counts; ensure ERP parameterization.
• Performance Analysis: monitor KPIs; produce daily reports; support shop floor projects and cross-functional meetings.

Our Airbus Atlantique site based in Mirabel is looking for its future Operational Logistics Coordinator (LOS).

Job Summary

Under the supervision of the logistics supervisor, the Operational Logistics Specialist's main mission is the management of Kanban and USM processes, monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) and problem solving. They also ensure coordination and participation in shop floor projects and production meetings.

A. Main responsibilities

Kanban Management

Manage Kanban processes for hardware and fasteners;

Develop the Kanban strategy (bin size, batch quantity, min/max, ABC addressing);

Ensure 5S of the Kanban zone;

Ensure ERP parameterization of Kanbans:

• Addressing configuration: Create, modify or deactivate Kanban loops and virtually map physical locations (central stores, transit areas, consumption points on the line).
• Identifier and traceability management: Generate, associate and manage barcodes, RFID tags or serial numbers for Kanban material.
• Kanban circuit management: Create, modify and update replenishment loops in the ERP by defining origin points, destinations and trigger parameters according to production evolution.
• Anomaly resolution: Monitor error reports, analyze causes of transaction failures (rejected scans, negative inventory, blocked receipts) and apply corrections in the system.

USM Management

Ensure management and monitoring of Mobile Servicing Units (USM) and associated quality control activities;

Perform regular inventory audits (cycle counts) to guarantee the accuracy of USM contents and prevent stockouts;

Ensure ERP parameterization of USMs:

Creation and modeling of entities: Parameterize USMs in the ERP as virtual inventory locations (mobile stores), traceable equipment or cost centers.

Replenishment and inventory movements: Establish transfer rules to ensure automated replenishment of consumed components and traceability of movements between the central store and the USM.

Assignment and routing: Informatically link USMs to their location so the system knows exactly where the unit is required.

Performance Analysis and Continuous Improvement

Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and produce daily reports for the Logistics manager;

Participate in production meetings and implementation projects on the shop floor;

Identify logistics flow optimization opportunities and propose corrective or preventive actions;

Contribute to problem solving and all other related tasks;

Participate in multi-service projects by collaborating with engineering, quality and production teams.

Job Requirements

Academic training: College Diploma (DEC) in Logistics, warehousing or handling.

Experience: A minimum of 2 to 5 years in a similar position.

Special requirements

Ideally knowledge of Google Workspace and SAP;

Ability to work in a team and interact effectively with internal clients (Logistics, production, procurement);

Autonomy, strong adaptability and a sense of structure and responsiveness;

Mastery of French.
