Job summary

Ontario Northland Transportation Commission (ONTC) is seeking a Continuous Improvement Specialist to lead change management and CI initiatives within the Business Process department in North Bay. The role focuses on identifying efficiencies, coordinating cross-functional teams, and delivering data-driven improvements across major programs.

A strong foundation in Lean Six Sigma and Change Management is required, with 5+ years of experience and a degree in engineering, business, or operations

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or Operations Management.
• Lean Six Sigma certification required.
• Certification in Change Management (e.g., PROSCI, CCMP) or PMP designation preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in continuous improvement, change management, and project management.
• Strong communication and data-driven decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and apply CI/change management frameworks and templates.
• Lead CI/change management projects from initiation to sustainment.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and manage deliverables and timelines.
• Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies and implement improvement plans.
• Coach leaders and teams, promoting best practices and change readiness.
• Develop communications, training, and competency-building initiatives.
• Analyze program data and report KPIs to senior leadership.
