The Role

The Planning Analyst supports strategic and operational decision-making by providing data-driven insights, forecasts, and plans. This role involves data analysis, model development, and report preparation to inform business strategies, resource allocation, and process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop forecasting models for sales, demand, capacity, and financial performance.
• Propose hiring plans based on data analysis.
• Prepare reports and presentations for senior management, including operational health status, AOP alignment, and CAPEX data.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify improvement opportunities and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Monitor performance indicators, analyze trends, and propose action plans.
• Support budget and long-term planning by analyzing team performance and project progress.
• Conduct scenario planning and "what-if" analysis to evaluate business options.
• Maintain strategic plans and propose mitigation strategies to meet financial and schedule goals.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, Statistics, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in planning, financial, or business analysis roles.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Bilingual in French and English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with ERP and Sciforma systems.
• Background in business transformation and change management (ADKAR).

Successful candidates must obtain security clearances and pass assessments for the Controlled Goods Program (CGP) and ITAR.

MDA offers competitive compensation and benefits, including health care, retirement plans, and employee assistance programs. The salary range is $80,000 - $95,000 annually, depending on experience.
