Job description

Job Summary

  • Conduct research, analyze, compile and vet information to prepare requests and draft responses to various domestic and foreign partners.
  • Collaborate and maintain a working relationship with team members, management, and colleagues from other branches / regions and, when required, other government departments.
  • Review and research operational messages and correspondence to identify operational relevance and report information and findings to operational desks.
  • Provide support in the development of analytical products, the preparation of requests and responses to various operational requirements.
  • Provide administrative support to Intelligence Officers related to intelligence collection. Research, create and/or maintain reference material, tracking tables, statistics and databases to identify trends and connections to the operational case lead or management.
  • Provide support in the revision and development of tools and processes related to operational support.
  • Maintain awareness of operational/ongoing investigative priorities, issues and requirements for assigned operational area and provide input to operational desks as required.

Education

  • Undergraduate degree and relevant experience*, or
  • College diploma and two (2) years of relevant experience*, or High school diploma and four (4) years of relevant experience*.

The degree must be obtained from an accredited learning institution recognized in Canada. If you completed a program outside of Canada you will be required to obtain proof of a Canadian equivalency at your expense from an accredited learning institution recognized in Canada.

Any higher level of education (i.e.: Masters, Doctorate) in a related field of study could be recognized as experience.

  • Relevant experience is defined as:

Research and analysis experience compiling data, reviewing it and making recommendations through reports, briefings or presentations.

“Analysis” can be defined as performing a coherent review of data and making a logical conclusion or recommendation.

Security Requirements

Candidates must be eligible to receive an Enhanced Top Secret security clearance.
