Job summary

London Drugs is seeking an Operations Supervisor for TECH Services to lead the growth and performance of TECH Services across assigned stores.

You will coach teams, ensure service standards and compliance, and partner with leadership to drive service revenue and customer satisfaction. This role involves travel to stores and aligning with business unit priorities to deliver continuous improvement.

Why This Role Matters

The Operations Supervisor, TECH Services is responsible for driving the growth, performance, and operational excellence of the TECH Services business across assigned stores. This role provides leadership, coaching, and technical expertise to store teams while ensuring service standards, compliance requirements, and operational processes are consistently executed.

Working closely with TECH leadership, Store Management, and Business Unit partners, the Operations Supervisor supports service revenue growth, develops high-performing teams, and helps deliver exceptional customer experiences. This role also acts as a key liaison between stores and the Business Unit to identify opportunities, address operational challenges, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

As a leader and ambassador of the London Drugs Brand Framework, the Operations Supervisor promotes a culture of service excellence, accountability, and continuous development.

What You'll Do

TECH Services Operations

• Support the operational performance and growth of TECH Services across assigned locations.
• Perform and support technical service work, repairs, certifications, and troubleshooting as required.
• Ensure service work is completed to company quality standards and established service expectations.
• Monitor departmental productivity, service metrics, and financial performance to support business objectives.
• Provide operational guidance and recommendations to Store Management and TECH leadership teams.
• Complete required reports, audits, and documentation accurately and on time.
• Support special projects, store initiatives, and community events as required.

Store Support & Compliance

• Ensure TECH departments consistently execute company standards, processes, and operational programs.
• Review store execution and identify opportunities to improve service delivery, consistency, and performance.
• Support implementation of business unit initiatives and operational changes.
• Ensure customer information and data handling practices comply with company policies and standards.
• Travel to stores and markets as required to support operational needs and business priorities.

Sales & Service Performance

• Support service revenue growth and achievement of departmental objectives.
• Work with store leadership teams to identify opportunities to improve sales, productivity, and customer engagement.
• Review upcoming promotions and ensure stores are prepared to support service-related demand.
• Monitor industry trends, competitive activity, and emerging technologies to identify new business opportunities.
• Promote awareness and adoption of TECH Services programs and offerings.

Inventory & Resource Management

• Oversee service parts inventory to ensure required resources are available to meet customer needs.
• Monitor inventory levels and inventory controls to support operational efficiency.
• Review inventory-related reporting and recommend improvements where appropriate.
• Ensure service resources and assets are effectively managed and maintained.

Leadership & Team Development

• Provide leadership, coaching, and mentorship to TECH Services team members.
• Partner with store leadership to support recruitment, onboarding, and employee development initiatives.
• Contribute to performance management discussions and employee development planning.
• Foster a collaborative, accountable, and customer-focused team environment.
• Identify and develop future TECH Services leaders.
• Promote effective communication and alignment between stores, leadership teams, and Business Unit partners.

What You Bring

• Strong understanding of the Tech/TECH Services department’s various operational software and support systems.
• Knowledge of desktop PCs, laptops and tablets in both Windows-based and Apple operating systems.
• A thorough understanding of all TECH products and services of the Photo Electronics, PhotoLab, Audio Video Systems and Computer categories.
• Working knowledge of all aspects of merchandising.
• Continue to develop strong technical knowledge.
