Qualifications

• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
• Operating room nursing experience preferred.
• BCLS certification required.
• Knowledge of OR standards and patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, patient‑centred nursing care in the operating room.
• Perform nursing assessments, planning, and evaluation of care.
• Comply with policies for observations and infection control.
• Deliver health teaching and discharge instructions for continuity of care.
• Float to the outpatient cystoscopy department as needed.
• Collaborate with inter‑professional team to ensure patient safety.
• Prioritize patient care needs and make autonomous decisions.
• Demonstrate leadership and maintain excellent attendance.
