Job Description:

This is a split role involving two teams:

  1. Business Operations at Plextec: You will manage all aspects of Plextec's business operations, working closely with the head engineer, engineering team, and sales lead. The role is primarily remote, based in Kitchener, Waterloo, with occasional travel. This accounts for about 40% of your time.
  2. Strategic Projects at AYCE Capital: You will collaborate with the operations team on projects across the MSP platform, including sales, marketing, accounting, HR, procurement, and consulting. This role is fully remote with occasional travel.

The role demands diligence, strong interpersonal skills, intelligence, and a focus on outcomes. Work-life balance is better than in comparable private equity roles, but the environment can be dynamic.

The compensation ranges from $70,000 to $120,000, with potential growth aligned with AYCE Capital's expansion. Benefits are not provided currently.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage financial processes: budgeting, expenses, invoicing.
  • Coordinate office supplies and inventory.
  • Support administrative and operational tasks.
  • Drive company KPIs and overall success.
Additional Responsibilities at AYCE Capital:
  • Handle assigned projects, research, analysis, and reporting.
  • Create PowerPoint and Excel deliverables for platform management and fundraising.
  • Oversee project management, including external consultants.
  • Participate in portfolio company meetings to advise on KPI achievement.
