Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Solution Architect to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in solution architecture and have a strong background in Microsoft Azure, Application Programming Interfaces (API), DevOps practices, Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems, Pi solutions and SAP S4 HANA implementation. Additionally, expertise in various architecture and design patterns, such as microservices and Model-View-Controller (MVC), is essential as we transition from monolithic applications to service-based architectures.

Key Accountabilities :

• Deliver innovative and effective architecture solutions that meet business needs.
• Ensure alignment of architecture solutions with organizational goals and technology strategies. Drive continuous improvement in architecture practices and methodologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Guide teams in adopting modern development practices and technologies, including Angular, React, .NET, SQL, and data platform solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design and Develop Solutions : Lead the design and development of comprehensive architecture solutions that align with business objectives and technology strategies.
• Azure Expertise : Utilize Microsoft Azure to architect scalable and reliable cloud-based solutions.
• API Management : Develop and manage Application Programming Interfaces to facilitate seamless data exchange and integration across platforms.
• DevOps Practices : Implement DevOps methodologies to enhance continuous integration, delivery, and deployment processes. SCADA and Pi Solutions : Design and implement Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition systems and Pi solutions to optimize operational efficiency.
• Architecture and Design Patterns : Provide guidance on adopting microservices, MVC, and other design patterns to modernize our application architecture.
• Technology Transition : Lead the transition from monolithic applications to service-based architectures, including API development and application containerization.
• Legacy System Upgrade : Collaborate with teams to upgrade legacy applications in Visual Basic 6, Centura, and Gupta to modern technologies.
• React Framework : Leverage the React framework to enhance user interface development and create dynamic, responsive web applications.
• Data Platform Development : Architect and implement robust data platforms to support data-driven decision-making and analytics. Business Intelligence and Al : Integrate Business Intelligence tools and Artificial Intelligence technologies to enhance data insights and drive innovation.
• Stakeholder Collaboration : Engage with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Technical Leadership : Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams, ensuring adherence to best practices and architectural standards.
• Documentation : Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of architecture designs, processes, and standards. SAP Implementation : Oversee and guide the implementation of SAP solutions, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field is required. A minimum of 10 years of experience in solution design and architecture is a priority. Proven experience as a Solution Architect or in a similar role.
• Strong expertise in SAP implementation, Microsoft Azure, API management, DevOps, SCADA systems, and Pi solutions. Experience with architecture and design patterns, including microservices and MVC.
• Familiarity with transitioning from monolithic to service-based architectures and containerizing applications. Experience with Angular, React, .NET, SQL, and upgrading legacy systems in Visual Basic 6, Centura, and Gupta. Expertise in data platform development, Business Intelligence, and Artificial Intelligence.
• Industry certifications such as Microsoft Certified : Azure Solutions Architect Expert, SAP Certification, Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), and other relevant certifications are highly desirable.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Deep knowledge of SAP modulesrelevant to your business (e.g., SAP Asset Management SAP S / 4HANA, SAP ECC, SAP Fiori, SAP BW, etc.).
• Experience withSAP best practicesand solution design.
• Understanding ofSAP integrationwith other systems (middleware, APIs, EDI, etc.).
• Experience withSAP Activate methodology.
• Experience withDevOps and CI / CDin SAP environments.

Project Implementation Experience

• Proven track record ofleading or architecting SAP implementation projects(ideally full lifecycle projects).
• Experience inrequirements gathering, solution design, configuration, and deployment.
• Extensive experience withSAP migrations and upgrades, including :
• Migrating from SAP ECC to SAP S / 4HANA.
• Upgrading SAP versions and components.
• Migrating SAP workloads from on-premise to cloud (SAP BTP, Azure, etc.).
• Managing data migration, system conversions, and technical cutovers.
• Experience in requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, and deployment.
• Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies as applied to SAP projects.

Technical Skills

• Strong understanding ofSAP architecture(on-premise, cloud, hybrid).
• Experience withdata migration, data modeling, and data governancein SAP.
• Ability to designcustom enhancements(ABAP, SAP UI5, Fiori, etc.).
• Knowledge ofSAP security and authorization concepts.
• Ability totranslate business requirements into SAP solutions.
• Understanding ofindustry-specific processes(Energy Market, Nuclear Plants).
• Strongstakeholder managementand communication skills.
