About The Opportunity

Northeastern’s Bouvé College of Health Sciences invites applications for a position at the rank of Assistant Teaching Professor, Associate Teaching Professor, or Full Teaching Professor, and as the Associate Director of the MS in Health Informatics Program. The role requires interdisciplinary collaboration across healthcare disciplines to optimize healthcare technology for better patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses and participate in departmental, college, and university service activities. Demonstrate commitment to working with diverse student populations.
• Manage program administrative activities, advise students, serve as liaison with university offices, and attend relevant committee meetings.
• Oversee admissions processes for the Vancouver campus, support application completion, and process applications.
• Advise on Vancouver capstone projects and coordinate recruitment efforts.
• Maintain communication with prospective, new, and current students, and act as liaison with university offices as needed.
• Assist in enrollment planning, budgeting, staffing, and curriculum evaluation.
• Engage in research and scholarly activities.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree.
• At least eight years of experience in the healthcare ecosystem.
• Minimum of two years teaching in higher education.
• Strong communication, project management, and database skills.
• Experience working with diverse student populations.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Salary ranges vary by rank: Assistant Professor: $119K-$143K CAD, Associate Professor: $130K-$158K CAD, Professor: $146K-$175K CAD. Salary will depend on experience and qualifications.
