Job Overview
Key Accountabilities
- Lead facilitation of risk identification, impact assessments, treatment, and controls for project teams.
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and engage stakeholders in risk identification sessions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Estimating and Scheduling to gather inputs for quantitative risk analysis.
- Manage and maintain risk data in the client’s database, and communicate changes as required.
- Work with project teams to ensure adherence to risk management processes and effective mitigation measures.
- Assist in project risk analysis, providing feedback and recommendations for improvements.
- Monitor compliance with risk policies, investigate emerging issues, and report findings.
- Facilitate risk modeling for cost and schedule contingency allocation by soliciting feedback from project teams.
- Develop and maintain best practices for risk management processes.
Qualifications
- Over 6 up to 8 years of experience in project planning, scheduling, risk management, and control services.
- Experience with risk management processes, quantitative risk assessment methodologies, and principles.
- Certifications and familiarity with PMI and AACE International are assets.
- Experience with schedule and cost risk analysis software such as PRA, Safran, etc.
- Understanding of project controls principles, including scoping, risk management, estimating, and scheduling.
- Experience in project management within nuclear, hydroelectric, thermal, or related industries.
- Familiarity with engineering and construction management concepts and methods.
- Experience with computerized systems and databases related to project management.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with knowledge of relevant business and computer applications.
- Candidate should demonstrate integrity and commitment to corporate values and the Code of Business Conduct.
