Job Overview
Key Accountabilities
  1. Lead facilitation of risk identification, impact assessments, treatment, and controls for project teams.
  2. Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and engage stakeholders in risk identification sessions.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Estimating and Scheduling to gather inputs for quantitative risk analysis.
  4. Manage and maintain risk data in the client’s database, and communicate changes as required.
  5. Work with project teams to ensure adherence to risk management processes and effective mitigation measures.
  6. Assist in project risk analysis, providing feedback and recommendations for improvements.
  7. Monitor compliance with risk policies, investigate emerging issues, and report findings.
  8. Facilitate risk modeling for cost and schedule contingency allocation by soliciting feedback from project teams.
  9. Develop and maintain best practices for risk management processes.
Qualifications
  1. Over 6 up to 8 years of experience in project planning, scheduling, risk management, and control services.
  2. Experience with risk management processes, quantitative risk assessment methodologies, and principles.
  3. Certifications and familiarity with PMI and AACE International are assets.
  4. Experience with schedule and cost risk analysis software such as PRA, Safran, etc.
  5. Understanding of project controls principles, including scoping, risk management, estimating, and scheduling.
  6. Experience in project management within nuclear, hydroelectric, thermal, or related industries.
  7. Familiarity with engineering and construction management concepts and methods.
  8. Experience with computerized systems and databases related to project management.
  9. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with knowledge of relevant business and computer applications.
  10. Candidate should demonstrate integrity and commitment to corporate values and the Code of Business Conduct.
