Our busy small animal surgery in Romford is seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to join their Out of Hours team.

Welcome bonus of £5000 for direct candidates only!

This is a part-time role, with a working pattern of 7 nights on and 14 nights off. Monday to Friday 8pm – 8:15am, weekends 6pm-9am.

Our location offers free on-site parking as well as excellent transport links into central London in just 25 minutes and out to the Essex countryside within 20 minutes. It is also ideally located for Stansted, City & Southend Airport.

Our established clinical team of 14 vets and 18 VNs has a wide variety of interests from medicine to soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery, with a generous CPD allowance supporting certificate-level study.

Our spacious surgery is purpose-built with state-of-the-art equipment including 2 operating theatres, ultrasound, in-house laboratory, digital radiographs, full endoscopy unit, and access to CT in one branch. We continually invest to improve our services.

Applicants need UK experience, confidence with sole charge, competence in emergency surgical procedures, and good diagnostic and medicinal skills. Excellent people skills, flexibility, passion, and dedication are essential.
