Job summary

WSP in Canada seeks a Director, Ontario Geotechnical Engineering to lead growth, performance, and technical excellence across Ontario. You will guide a multidisciplinary team delivering geotechnical solutions for transportation, infrastructure, buildings, energy, mining, environmental, and water projects nationwide.

You will shape the long-term vision, strengthen client relationships, and drive innovation while upholding health, safety, quality, inclusion, collaboration, and client success

Qualifications

• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams in a consulting environment.
• Strong client relationships, growth mindset, and strategic focus.
• Deep understanding of Ontario regulatory and infrastructure landscape.
• Proven ability to manage complex project portfolios.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic direction, growth, performance, and technical excellence across Ontario.
• Develop long-term vision and growth strategy for geotechnical practice.
• Build and mentor a high-performing, cross-office team.
• Strengthen client relationships and pursue major opportunities.

• Oversee project delivery, risk management, and financial performance.
• Foster collaboration across offices and sectors for integrated solutions.
• Represent WSP in the marketplace through client engagement and forums.
