Job summary

Total Oilfield Rentals in Lloydminster is seeking a Solids Control Technician to set up, operate and maintain centrifuges and related rental equipment on active sites across western Canada.

Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will perform maintenance, complete work orders, and participate in safety meetings. A valid class 5 license, 2 years solids control or Derrickhand experience, and a high school diploma are required.

Qualifications

• 2 years of Solids Control (centrifuge, dewatering, barite recovery) and/or Derrickhand experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent required with previous drillsite experience.
• A valid class 5 driver's license; the successful candidate will be responsible for getting themselves to and from site.
• Have a dedication to providing excellent customer service and contributing to a safe work environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up/tear down solids control equipment and maintain operation.
• Perform routine and complex equipment maintenance and manual labor as needed.
• Ensure compliance with Total Oilfield Rentals standards and complete documentation daily.
• Identify process improvements and participate in safety meetings.
• Mentor new employees as needed.
