Job description

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive logistics representative to support day-to-day logistics operations at our client's installation and service sites. The primary responsibility of this role is to oversee and manage all onsite logistics operations to ensure efficient and timely delivery of goods and materials. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a keen eye for detail.

Job Title: Logistics Coordinator

Location: Sainte-Tite-des-Caps (Near Baie-Saint-Paul)

6 months contract with possibility of extension or permanency

Employment Type: Full-time, 100% Office

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Salary: $37– $40 per hour (based on experience)

Need to have your own vehicle!

Responsibilities
  1. Spearhead coordination with the logistics team to ensure flawless delivery from the Port of Arrival to Project Site.
  2. Create and deliver daily and weekly delivery plans aligned with project milestones, proactively addressing deviations.
  3. Track delivery delays, identify issues with logistics providers or onsite challenges, and ensure on-time deliveries.
  4. Collaborate across teams to synchronize logistics activities supporting project success.
  5. Monitor and optimize inventory levels to meet project demands and deadlines.
  6. Innovate and improve logistics processes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  7. Communicate clearly with stakeholders, providing real-time updates and resolving issues quickly.
  8. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
  9. Analyze logistics data to identify improvement opportunities and implement strategic enhancements.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in logistics operations.
  • Bilingual communication skills, especially with outside Quebec suppliers and clients.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in logistics software and systems.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of safety and regulatory requirements related to logistics.
