Job summary

Groupe Lam‑É St‑Pierre is seeking an Inspector to visit customer sites and certify that lifting and fall protection products comply with applicable standards. You will complete inspection reports and provide them to customers promptly after each visit.

Responsibilities include performing inspections, gathering materials, performing on-site repairs, documenting data, and promoting the company’s services. The role requires travel to Quebec City and on the road.

Qualifications

• DEP (Diploma of Vocational Studies) in lifting and/or ASP Construction certification.
• 1–2 years of on-site inspection experience.
• WHMIS certification and knowledge of OHS standards.
• Knowledge of ERP systems is an asset.
• Knowledge of lifting and safety products and non-compliance criteria.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Valid driver’s licence.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections of lifting and safety equipment at customer locations.
• Gather equipment and materials required for each inspection.
• Perform repairs at the customer’s location.
• Enter inspection data into the computer system.
• Present and promote the company’s services.
• Ensure compliance with OHS standards at customer locations.
• Prepare completed inspection reports within tight deadlines.
• Communicate issues or concerns promptly.
• Collaborate with sales and operations teams; represent the company with customers and partners.
• Base in Quebec City and travel on the road.
