Job summary

STEMCELL Technologies, based in Vancouver, seeks an Environmental Specialist to ensure compliance with evolving environmental regulations and reporting standards. This fixed-term, onsite 12-month contract supports global market access and ESG initiatives.

The role involves monitoring regulations, preparing regulatory filings, and communicating performance across the organization while aligning with CSRD, EUDR, Prop 65, and GRI/ SASB frameworks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Law, or Accounting with specialization in ESG reporting.
• Graduate degree is an asset with preferred ESG focus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret environmental regulations globally and lead cross-departmental compliance initiatives.
• Assist in preparing and submitting environmental compliance documentation to regulators and third parties.
• Develop and distribute internal and public ESG/performance reports in line with global standards; respond to inquiries.
• Collaborate across departments to advance ESG goals and update the compliance roadmap.
