Job summary

WoodGreen is seeking casual ECE staff to care for children in group settings and support daily programs in line with the Ministry of Education and City of Toronto standards.

You will work with a collaborative team, supervise activities, document daily progress, and maintain safety, health, and hygiene. A valid RECE and First Aid/CPR-C are required, along with immunization and TB clearance. Shifts vary and onsite work is required.

Qualifications

• RECE Certification and ECE diploma are required.
• First Aid/CPR-C certification is mandatory.
• Immunization records and TB test are required.

Responsibilities

• Care for children in groups and assist in daily program planning and implementation.
• Maintain safety, health, and hygienic conditions for children.
• Record daily attendance and communicate progress to parents.
• Follow policies and regulations (Ministry of Education, AQI, WoodGreen).
• Escort children on outings and ensure adequate supervision.
• Perform routine housekeeping tasks as needed.
