Job summary

Athabasca University is seeking a Write Site Coordinator within the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. The role supports AU students by coordinating writing services, coaching writers, and providing timely feedback on academic work.

The position requires a Master’s degree in Writing Studies or related field and several years of university-level writing instruction and writing-centre experience. Hybrid work arrangements are available.

Qualifications

• The candidate must have a Master's degree in Writing Studies or related field.
• Minimum three years of academic writing instruction at the college/university level.
• Two years of college/university writing centre experience required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the Write Site to support AU writers across programs.
• Coach student writers and provide in-depth feedback on academic work.
• Supervise Write Site staff and manage workloads and services.
• Maintain Write Site databases and website; analyze statistics.
