Role Overview:

As the Online Account Manager, you will lead and manage all aspects of online retail partnerships—from maintaining strong relationships with current accounts to onboarding new e-commerce partners. Your goal is to drive performance, optimize listings, and ensure operational excellence to support company's digital growth strategy. This is a high-impact role requiring strategic thinking, data-driven decision-making, and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities:

Account Management

  • Act as the primary contact for all existing online retail and marketplace accounts
  • Strengthen relationships with partners to align on growth targets and brand standards
  • Conduct regular business reviews and performance check-ins
  • Own and achieve the online sales targets

Growth Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and implement tailored growth plans by account
  • Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities to grow average order value
  • Analyze market and competitor trends to support pricing, promotions, and positioning strategies

Sales & Performance Tracking

  • Monitor daily/weekly sales and key performance indicators
  • Report actionable insights to internal stakeholders
  • Address performance gaps with timely, data-informed solutions

Content & Listings Optimization

  • Collaborate with marketing to maintain engaging, SEO-optimized product listings
  • Ensure all content is brand-consistent and compliant across platforms
  • Audit and update listings regularly to maximize conversion
  • Enforce IMAP (Minimum Advertised Price) compliance across all accounts

New Account Onboarding

  • Identify and evaluate new online retail partners aligned with growth strategy
  • Lead end-to-end onboarding from outreach through to operational setup
  • Ensure new accounts meet brand, operational, and compliance standards

Qualifications:

Core Functional Skills

  • Proven experience managing online retail or marketplace accounts (e.g., Amazon, Shopify, Wayfair, Walmart Marketplace)
  • Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP); comfort with dashboards and data tools
  • Understanding of SEO, digital marketing impact, and product listing optimization
  • Knowledge of pricing strategy, MAP policies, and promotion mechanics

Strategic & Analytical Skills

  • Ability to develop and execute account-level growth strategies
  • Strong problem-solving mindset with attention to performance metrics
  • Familiarity with competitive analysis and digital market dynamics

Interpersonal & Soft Skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong negotiation and conflict resolution abilities
  • Organized project manager with experience in cross-functional coordination
  • Customer-first mindset with adaptability to changing platform requirements
