Qualifications

Training, certification and/or direct experience teaching in an online learning environment
Experience teaching math in online secondary education
Advanced skills maintaining an online classroom in a learning management system
Advanced skills supporting AFL assessment practices and documentation
Experience developing online learning platforms within Brightspace, Zoom and Teams
Ability to provide tutorial support online and in person
Ability to support students with course adaptations and I.E.P.s

Responsibilities

Guide successful online and blended learning for students province-wide
Research, develop, and maintain online curriculum and support blended instruction
Teach online and on-site at a Comox Valley School
Collaborate with educators, parents and students to personalize learning
Contribute to a collaborative learning community across the district
