Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Go and C++ required.
  • Experience with Unreal Engine 5 or similar.
  • Backend systems development for AAA games.
  • Expertise in REST APIs.
  • Experience with AWS cloud services.
  • Knowledge of online services database design.
  • Strong bilingual communication (French & English).
  • Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

  • Gather requirements and propose solutions for core game systems and features.
  • Design, develop, and maintain client-side and backend online systems.
  • Collaborate with production and programming teams for reliability and performance.
  • Develop tools to monitor and track service performance and availability.
  • Implement CI/CD practices and tooling for smooth releases.
  • Contribute to service architecture evolution to support game growth.
  • Troubleshoot issues and optimize existing systems.
  • Improve development workflows and technical practices.
  • Support seamless online service integration across teams.
