Job Description Summary

The Oncology Care Area Leader (Canada) will own the business, market development, and downstream portfolio leadership of the oncology solutions franchise. This role will coordinate with the Global Oncology Solutions team, Imaging Market Leaders, Market General Managers, and their teams to maximize business results and customer satisfaction in the oncology market segment. The leader will act as a conduit to Modality Leadership to capture evolving market and customer needs, driving continuous product innovation tailored to local markets.

Responsibilities
  • Achieve quarterly and yearly Product/Solution/Service P&L targets, focusing on Dedicated Cancer Centers (DCC) & Oncology Specialty Centers (OSC). Drive pipeline growth, win rate, market share, visibility, and new leads, with initial focus on simulation & advanced detection products such as CT/MRI Sim, PET CT solutions, and radiation oncology solutions.
  • Forecast pipeline and sales accurately within reporting cycles.
  • Conduct infield coaching and ride-alongs with cross-functional teams on oncology trends, territory management, opportunity management, customer needs, value differentiation, and key opinion leader engagement.
  • Support Key Opinion Leader relationships and grow market share within the region. Develop thought leadership on GE Healthcare’s oncology products and solutions.
  • Deepen clinical and technical knowledge, staying aware of healthcare technology trends and funding mechanisms.
  • Serve as a reference for product differentiation to regional account teams.
  • Drive business development, including inorganic and organic partnerships, and the commercialization of digital, software, and care pathway solutions.
  • Develop and launch new products and solutions, managing their lifecycle.
In This Role You Will
  • Understand the oncology customer ecosystem, especially in Radiation Oncology, to innovate and drive business growth aligned with segment targets.
  • Lead complex projects from inception to post-deal, focusing on outcome-based selling and patient care workflows.
  • Make strategic investment decisions based on market analysis and operationalize propositions for regional success.
  • Manage product roadmaps, lifecycle, and product management processes.
  • Build relationships across GE businesses, partners, and customers at senior levels.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to execute strategies.
  • Travel regionally as needed.
  • Create demonstration sites to showcase GE solutions and ensure smooth project execution.
  • Support digital, consulting, and financial capabilities in solutions deals.
  • Advise and coach customers and internal teams, preparing executive presentations and leading resources to success.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (8+ years in healthcare or related fields).
  • 7-10 years of clinical experience in hospitals with leadership roles, in-depth healthcare market knowledge.
  • Experience in oncology product marketing and sales/strategy (preferred).
  • Leadership, negotiation, and interpersonal skills; ability to influence at all levels.
  • Reside in Canada, preferably Toronto or Montreal.
