Job summary

University Health Network (UHN) is hiring a Clinical Nurse Manager I for the Princess Margaret Oncology Outpatient unit. The role leads a team, ensures quality patient care, and oversees education, quality metrics, and staffing for a 37.5-hour week under a 24‑month contract.

The position requires an Ontario nursing license, a Master’s in Nursing or in progress, and at least five years in oncology with supervisory experience. Ambulatory oncology experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Licensed with the College of Nurses of Ontario or equivalent Ontario-regulated profession.
• Master's in Nursing or in progress.
• At least five years of oncology care experience, including 3–5 years in supervision/management.
• Experience in ambulatory oncology; data-driven approach to care delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a department focused on delivering quality patient care.
• Oversee day-to-day operations: education, quality management, staffing, finance.
• Develop a cohesive team and educational strategies for staff.
• Build relationships with external organizations.
• Utilize data to improve practice and care delivery.
