Job summary

Prince Albert Grand Council is seeking a full-time Youth Coordinator to oversee land-based healing and youth programs funded through Jordan’s Principle. The role focuses on empowering youth, delivering holistic programming, and fostering a sense of belonging in the community.

Youth Coordinators will report to the Health Director and Embrace Life Coordinator, sharing yearly workplans and calendars. The position emphasizes engagement, leadership development, and safety in all activities.

Qualifications

• Must be energetic and passionate about working with youth, young adults and families.
• Demonstrated organization and communication skills.
• Self-directed with attention to detail.
• Ability to work with diverse populations.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate programs with YAC, PAGC ELC and Land Based Team.
• Engage youth and families through on-the-land activities and events.
• Provide quality interaction with members, volunteers and participants.
• Support implementation and delivery of on-the-land training and meetings.
• Supervise volunteers and community staff and oversee daily project operations.
