Job description

As the Specialist - Technical Representative, you will design and execute integrated marketing support, high-impact technical education, and experiential activations across top-tier regional accounts. Serving as a proactive cross-functional interface for your territory, you will bridge the gap between central marketing initiatives and localized execution. You will lead multi-stakeholder projects, cultivate regional ambassador networks, and analyze performance data to identify commercial growth opportunities that maximize brand affinity. Reporting to the Technical Representative Lead on the Canadian Marketing team, you will collaborate closely with Sales, Campaigns, and Marketing to accelerate regional product momentum. This position is travel-intensive (up to 60%) and as a perk, a company vehicle will be included for use as a perk. Our ideal team member will live within about an hour's drive from Vancouver, Canada.

Your Mission
  • Advanced Technical Education: Deliver high-impact technical education programs across premium retail accounts, tailoring complex performance engineering narratives to match specific tier segments and elevate retail staff expertise.
  • Integrated Marketing Support: Manage and execute integrated marketing initiatives for top-tier accounts by driving collaboration with Brand Experience, Campaigns, Creative, and Marketing teams.
  • Ambassador Management: Cultivate, contract, and manage strategic relationships with regional and emerging brand ambassadors, leveraging their cultural influence to amplify localized community campaigns.
  • Commercial Growth Analysis: Partner with prospective and dedicated accounts to analyze store performance data, identify market growth opportunities, and strengthen long-term commercial alliances.
  • High-Complexity Events: Orchestrate end-to-end regional event experiences, managing high-complexity logistics, vendor coordination, and cross-functional brand activations.
  • Strategic Localization: Adapt and execute regional product launch strategies based on central marketing directives, maintaining a delicate balance between global brand standards and local market flexibility.
  • Flagship Visual Merchandising: Direct the local deployment of visual merchandising strategies across flagship partner accounts, solving spatial constraints to ensure premium brand presentation.
  • Macro Insights & Briefing: Synthesize macro territory insights, competitor movements, and structural partner feedback into strategic briefs for sales leadership and regional marketing units.
Your Story
  • Professional Experience: You bring 4+ years of functional experience within technical product education, wholesale sales management, event operations, or integrated brand marketing.
  • Matrix Cross-Functionality: Proven track record navigating matrixed corporate environments and managing complex projects with separate internal and external stakeholder groups.
  • Industry Acumen: Deep structural understanding of the performance running, outdoor, and specialty sporting goods landscapes, including consumer behavioral shifts and emerging retail trends.
  • High-Altitude Communication: Expertise presenting high-altitude strategic frameworks and deep technical concepts to corporate buyers, retail owners, and industry professionals with declarative confidence.
  • Digital & Analytics Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in digital project management software, data analytics platforms, and modern social media ecosystems to scale ambassador impact.
  • Agility & Autonomy: Proven ability to proactively navigate ambiguity, pilot experimental event formats, and manage high-impact stretch assignments autonomously.
  • Willingness to navigate a travel-intensive schedule of up to 40% across the designated territory while living within commutable proximity to Vancouver, Canada.
  • You possess a valid driver’s license and are willing to undergo a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check as part of the pre-employment process
