Job summary

Clear Destination Inc. in Port Coquitlam is hiring a Forklift Operator to load, unload and store shipments safely and efficiently. You will work on-site in a union, permanent role with varied shifts and an hourly wage of CAD 25.68 plus shift premiums.

Responsibilities include following SOPs, using pick sheets, verifying inbound freight, labeling accuracy, and reporting issues to the Facility Supervisor. Physical work and steady attendance are required.

Qualifications

• Forklift license is required.
• 1–2 years propane forklift driving experience.
• Transportation experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift to safely load and unload freight from trucks.
• Use pick sheets to determine which skids will be shipped.
• Confirm inbound freight is received by scanning or inbound forms.
• Verify packing labels for accuracy of product being shipped.
• Report damaged freight or quality concerns to the Facility Supervisor.
• Attend daily shift meetings and complete stretches.
• Pick, sequence and pack product according to customer requirements using racks, carts, totes, boxes or gaylords.
• Manually unload products or empty racks from trailers.
• Manually load freight into trailers.
• Meet all efficiency requirements as determined by the SOP and Warehouse Manager.
