Job summary

Our client in warehousing and logistics is seeking a Forklift Operator to join their Richmond, BC team. You will operate forklifts and support day-to-day material handling and warehouse activities. You will also assist with transporting goods within the facility to keep operations flowing.

The ideal candidate communicates clearly, pays attention to detail, and solves problems in a fast-paced environment. A forklift operator license may be required and reading blueprints is a plus.

Our client, warehousing and logistics operations is seeking a Forklift Operator to join their team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be part of the equipment operations group supporting day-to-day warehousing activities. The ideal candidate will have strong verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities that will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Forklift Operator
Location: Richmond, BC
Pay Range: $24/hr
Shift: 2:00am to 10:30am

What's the Job?

• Operate and drive equipment such as trucks and forklifts to support warehousing activities
• Perform material handling tasks including receiving and moving materials safely and efficiently
• Support the transport of goods within the facility to keep operations flowing
• Assist with equipment operation duties that contribute to accurate handling and timely movement of materials
• Follow procedures that support quality control and effective distribution of goods

What's Needed?

• Verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to follow instructions clearly
• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, and basic repair/maintenance concepts
• Ability to read blueprints (if required for the role)
• If required, ability to obtain the necessary equipment operation certification or licenses; forklift operators license may be required and a commercial driving license may be required
