Are You Our Next On-Site Technician?

Do you thrive on solving problems, tackling challenges under pressure, and delivering exceptional results? If so, we’re looking for an On-Site Technician to join our team and make a meaningful impact!

Your role:

Atlas Copco is looking for an On-Site Technician in Alliston. You will work at our Alliston facility and report directly to the Field Service and TMC Regional Team Leader. As an On-Site Technician you will participate in different missions through several activities including tool repair, calibration, software upgrades, new system configuration and customer support. At Atlas Copco you can create your own career path, and we will help you develop your technical skills to achieve your dreams.

Here’s how you’ll make an impact:

  1. Respond Quickly to Line Halts: Act with urgency to minimize downtime and keep production running smoothly.

  2. Install and Optimize Tools: Set up new tools and adjust existing ones for maximum performance.

  3. Troubleshoot Issues: Diagnose and resolve tool-related problems to avoid production delays.

  4. Perform Maintenance: Carry out preventative maintenance and ensure tools are calibrated and operating at peak efficiency.

  5. Communicate Effectively: Build and maintain strong relationships with the customer, addressing their needs with professionalism and responsiveness.

To Succeed, You Will Need:

  1. Education: High School Diploma or Post-Secondary Diploma.

  2. Preferred Background: Graduates in Electro-Mechanical, Electronics, or Technology programs.

  3. Mechanical Aptitude: Enjoys taking things apart and putting them back together.

  4. Team Collaboration: Comfortable working in a team environment.

  5. Technical Skills: Ability to read and comprehend schematics. Proficiency in MS Office, networking, and database systems.

  6. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
