Job summary

Cummins Inc. in Wabush, NL, is seeking an On-Site Service Technician to perform repairs and preventive maintenance on Cummins engine products at client sites. The role requires Red Seal Certification and the ability to work a 7 days on / 7 days off schedule at mine sites.

The successful candidate will diagnose, repair, and overhaul engines, keep detailed service records, and uphold Cummins safety policies while maintaining their own tools and pursuing ongoing certifications.

Qualifications

• Red Seal Certification is required.
• Ability to speak both official languages, French & English.
• Completes complex internal engine repairs.
• Performs engine overhauls unassisted.
• Detailed understanding of the aftertreatment system and components.
• Proficient experience with engine diagnostic software.

We are looking for a talented On-Site Service Technician to join our Distribution business in Wabush, NL

Will make an impact in the following ways:

• Complete repairs on engine products at client’s site

• Perform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic tools

• Maintain detailed records of serviced vehicles

• Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies

• Ongoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins products

• Maintain own tools

Work Schedule: 7 days on - 7 days off staged at mine site

In order to be successful in this role you will need the following:

• Red Seal Certification is required

• Ability to speak both official languages, French & English

• Completes complex internal engine repairs

• Performs engine overhauls unassisted

• Detailed understanding of the aftertreatment system and components

• Proficient experience with engine diagnostic software

Compensation and Benefits - Canada
