Job summary

Cummins Inc. is seeking an Engine Field Service Technician to join our Fort McMurray team. You will diagnose and complete engine repairs at customer sites, perform repairs in service shops, and utilize diagnostic tools to support Cummins products.

The role requires Red Seal Certification for Heavy Equipment, 5 years of field experience in heavy equipment/mining, and a valid driver’s license. Flexibility for on-site work with potential day and night rotations is included.

Job Summary

Diagnoses and completes less complex repairs to engines at the customer’s site.

We are looking for a talented Engine Field Service Technician to join our Distribution business in Fort McMurray.

Will Make An Impact In The Following Ways

• Complete repairs on engine products in a service shop
• Perform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic tools
• Maintain detailed records of serviced vehicles
• Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies
• Ongoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins products
• Maintain own tools

In order to be successful in this role you will need the following:

• Completes complex internal engine repairs
• Performs engine overhauls unassisted
• Detailed understanding of the aftertreatment system and components
• Proficient experience with engine diagnostic software

This role requires a 5-year motor vehicle report, free from major violations and must meet the conditions of the company policy
