Job description

We are seeking an On-Site Rep (OSR) for the Submarine Command Team Trainer (SCTT) in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

The Role

We need a dynamic, self-motivated individual with excellent communication skills and experience leading systems engineering teams. The OSR will work closely with the submarine community and training organization, providing support for SCTT operations and system administration.

Job Responsibilities

1. Trainer Operations Support: Support SCTT start-up, operation, and shut-down, including configuration, training, scenario preparation, troubleshooting, and documentation.
2. System Administration: Perform system backups, updates, performance monitoring, security, and maintenance activities.
3. Experience Requirements: Minimum one year in naval environment, training development, system troubleshooting, and Windows-based networks.
4. Knowledge/Skills: Excellent communication, organizational skills, configuration management, and ability to raise discrepancies.
5. Desirable Qualifications: Experience with Linux/Unix administration, scenario generation, and training execution.
