Job summary

EDF power solutions is seeking a Technician 3 Renewable Energy Technician for on-site work in Lucknow, Ontario. The role involves unsupervised maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair across wind, solar, and storage assets, with leadership duties for junior technicians.

You will work closely with engineering teams, apply NEC/OSHA standards, and participate in 24/7 on-call rotations while advancing asset performance and reliability.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Senior Renewable Energy Technician Qualification or equivalent experience required.
Strong knowledge of NEC and OSHA safety standards.
Ability to read, write and speak French.
Experience with renewable energy assets (wind, solar, storage).

Responsibilities

Perform unsupervised maintenance on renewable energy assets and storage systems.
Lead and train Technician 1 and 2 teams.
Conduct site safety assessments and safety meetings.
Complete maintenance logs, service reports and documentation.
Support 24/7 on-call rotations and fault identification.
