Job summary

butcher-power-products seeks a Lead QC Inspector – Fabrication/Assembly to manage in-process quality checks at the primary facility, with responsibility for development of inspection criteria and mentoring of inspectors. The role includes documentation, NCR initiation, and escalation handling alongside the QC Manager.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Quality Engineer and assume float coverage duties as needed to ensure consistent quality across Fabrication and Assembly

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 4+ years of quality inspection or QC in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site inspection at the primary facility and act as the first escalation point for inspection questions.
• Develop and refine in-process inspection criteria, checklists, and sampling plans with the QA team.
• Mentor QC Inspectors and support float coverage across facilities.
• Record inspection results and initiate NCRs with clear documentation.
• Coordinate with QC Manager and Quality Engineer on inspection issues.
