Job summary

Teck Resources in Kimberley, BC, seeks a Project Manager to lead a portfolio of infrastructure, environmental, water management, and site-improvement projects at the Sullivan Mine. The role emphasizes safety, on-schedule delivery, and budget adherence while coordinating with internal teams, regulators, Indigenous Nations, and external partners.

The successful candidate will bring 8+ years of experience in mining or heavy industry, strong leadership, and expertise in project controls tools

Qualifications

Minimum 8 years of progressive experience managing projects in mining, heavy industry, or similar environments.
Experience acting as Owner's Representative and managing multidisciplinary teams and contractors.
Experience delivering capital, environmental, water management, closure, or infrastructure projects from initiation through closeout.

Responsibilities

Lead planning and delivery of environmental, infrastructure, water management, closure, and site improvement projects.
Develop and manage scopes, schedules, budgets, risks, and resources.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, permits, closure commitments, and corporate standards.
Oversee contractors, consultants, and technical service providers.
Build relationships with regulators, Indigenous Nations, communities, and stakeholders.
Provide progress reporting on costs, risks, and key decisions to site and corporate leadership.
