Nhwelmen Construction is seeking an Occupational First Aid Level 3 Attendant to deliver prompt first aid on-site and support health and safety programs. The role complies with WorkSafeBC regulations and company safety policies, with a competitive hourly wage and benefits plan.

The successful candidate will maintain first aid facilities, document incidents, and assist in emergency procedures while coordinating with safety teams on remote project sites.

Qualifikationen

• Must hold Occupational First Aid Level 3 certificate (WorkSafeBC recognized).
• Current CPR-C and AED certification.
• Physically fit and able to lift, bend, and assist in moving injured individuals.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
• Experience in industrial or construction environments is preferred.
• Working knowledge of WorkSafe regulations and reporting procedures.

Aufgaben

• Provide first aid and emergency care per OFA Level 3 training and WorkSafeBC guidelines.
• Maintain and inspect first aid room, equipment, and supplies.
• Document injuries, incidents, and treatments using approved forms (e.g., Form 7).
• Assist in development and implementation of emergency response procedures.
• Act as a first responder during workplace emergencies, including site evacuations.
• Coordinate with supervisors, safety personnel, and external emergency services when necessary.
• Monitor workers recovering from injuries under medical directive (if applicable).
• Restock and check first aid supplies regularly.
• Participate in site safety meetings, toolbox talks, and hazard assessments.
• Maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times.
• Perform other duties to support the Safety Advisor and management.
