Job summary

Raise is seeking a Quality Specialist, Mechanical for the Pickering site to perform comprehensive mechanical inspections across incoming, in-process, and final stages. The role requires reviewing Inspection and Test Plans, ensuring documentation accuracy, and coordinating with engineers and inspectors on site.

The ideal candidate holds a CWB Level I (Level II preferred) and an active OPG security clearance, with strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills in a nuclear project

Qualifications

  • CWB Level I certification required at minimum.
  • CWB Level II or CWB Supervisor certification is preferred.
  • Current OPG Security Clearance required.
  • Experience in mechanical inspection and quality assurance.
  • Ability to read drawings, specs and ITPs.
  • Strong documentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Perform mechanical inspections during incoming, in-process, and final stages.
  • Review and work within Mechanical Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).
  • Inspect at site and verify work against requirements.
  • Liaise with TSSA and support ANI inspections.
  • Complete and submit History Dockets and related quality records.
  • Ensure accurate documentation conforms to project requirements.
  • Collaborate with engineers, quality, construction, and management to resolve issues.
  • Support overall QA and inspection activities for nuclear projects.
