Zusammenfassung

AFIMAC-Canada is actively hiring an experienced Industrial Mechanic - Millwright for a Southwest Ontario assignment. Your work will cover installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of on-site electrical machinery and equipment.

This position involves 10–12 hour shifts, 4–6 days per week when assigned to a project, with a $65.00 per hour rate before overtime, plus a daily $30 meal allowance when lodging is required, travel paid up to 4 hours, and hotel accommodations provided when needed.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 433A certificate of qualification – Industrial Mechanic.
• Minimum 1 year millwright experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
• Fluent English in reading and writing.

Aufgaben

• Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on industrial machinery and equipment.
• Read mechanical drawings, schematics, blueprints and equipment specifications.
• Follow safety, quality, environmental and production procedures including lockout/tagout and confined space rules.
• Install, repair and maintain hydraulic, pneumatic, piping and compressed air systems.
• Use hand and power tools for mechanical work and adjustments.
• Rig, install, align, level and adjust machinery and equipment as required.
• Maintain maintenance records and complete work orders.
• Inspect equipment and recommend repairs to minimize downtime.
