TalentSphere is seeking a Junior Project Accountant in Edmonton, AB to support project invoicing, billing, and financial administration for an architecture and design portfolio. You will collaborate with project managers and the accounting team to ensure accurate project costing and timely invoicing.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years in accounting, a diploma, and strong Excel skills. This full-time, on-site role offers exposure to project financial management within a creative environment.

Qualifications

• Accounting diploma required; NAIT accounting diploma preferred.
• 1–2 years accounting or related experience; co-op/internship considered.
• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Assist with project invoicing and billing for a portfolio of architecture and design projects.
• Prepare and process client invoices with proper project allocation.
• Assist with tracking project costs, budgets, and billings.
• Review and enter project-related invoices and expenses.
• Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and other accounting duties.
• Maintain accurate project records and financial documentation.
• Work with Project Managers and accounting team to resolve billing questions.
• Assist with month-end processes, reporting, and account reconciliations.
• Support general administrative and accounting tasks as required.
