Bon Appetit is the category leader in the production and distribution of premium baked goods. As a result of our continuous expansion, we are searching for a highly effective on-site Information Technology Manager.

NO REMOTE WORK AVAILABLE

For this critical position, we are looking for an experienced and motivated individual who has a detailed knowledge of the industry’s best practices and a professional track record of effective technical management, information analysis, and a thorough understanding of computer hardware and software systems.

Duties and objectives include:

· Overseeing and ensuring that computing systems and equipment are operating effectively and efficiently.

· Maintains information technology strategies.

· Managing & motivating the IT staff.

· Recruiting and training employees, communicating job expectations, and monitoring performance.

· Ensure security of data, network access and backup systems

· Overseeing the annual IT budget and ensuring cost-effectiveness.

· Creating and maintaining IT policies for employees and business partners.

· Monitoring daily operations, including server hardware, software, and operating systems.

· Coordinating technology installations, upgrades, and maintenance.

· Selecting and purchasing new and replacement hardware and software, when necessary.

· Testing, troubleshooting, and modifying information systems so that they operate effectively.

· Generating performance reports for operating systems.

· Assuring all IT activities are performed within the parameters of applicable laws, codes, and regulations.

· Evaluating technology risks in order to develop a network recovery plan.

· Remaining up to date with advances in technology and industry best practices.

Qualifications for the position include:

· 5+ years of experience as an IT Manager.

· A Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university in Computer Science, MIS or similar field.

· Computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Operating Systems & Microsoft Office Software, ERP & MRP Systems, barcode based inventory systems.

· Experience with computer networks, network administration, and network installation.

· Proficient in computer hardware, cabling installation and support, wireless technology applications and interface, and IT security.

· Mobile Applications, PC & RF Scanning terminal expertise.

· Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.

· Must be able to handle confidential information with the complete confidence of management.

· Ability to stand, walk, sit; use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs, balance; stoop, kneel, or crouch; talk and hear. *Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions
