Job summary

Ornge is seeking a Warehouse Technician – Medical Consumables to support Paramedic Operations. You will manage inventory, process orders, receive shipments, and distribute medical consumables across bases to ensure readiness.

The role combines administrative and hands-on duties in a fast-paced healthcare setting, with a focus on accuracy, safety, and teamwork. A valid driver’s license and forklift experience are assets.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in administration, healthcare administration, EMS logistics, EMS supply chain, or related field preferred.

• Minimum 3-4 years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, biomedical support or related field in a healthcare environment.
• Experience with inventory management systems and asset tracking is an asset.
• Knowledge of inventory control, warehouse processes and asset management practices.

Responsibilities

• Uses SAP and other inventory systems to process, track, restock, and coordinate shipments of medical consumables and equipment.
• Maintains inventory accuracy through counts, rotation, replenishment, and expiring inventory tracking.
• Receives shipments, verifies deliveries and documents per policy and procedures.
• Supports biomedical activities with receiving and distribution of medical/EMS equipment.
• Supports warehouse operations and logistics coordination to ensure efficient service delivery.
• Keeps accurate records and reports on inventory levels and logistics.
