Position: Crisis Management Specialist (Contract, Occasional)

Homewood Health is seeking an experienced crisis management specialist to provide workplace trauma response and organizational crisis management services on a contract basis across New Brunswick.

Responsibilities
  1. Respond promptly and professionally to requests for on-site crisis management services, tailoring interventions to the needs of each incident and organizational culture.
  2. Deliver on-site crisis interventions, including individual and group debriefings and corporate consultations.
  3. Maintain close communication with CMS Managers during service delivery.
  4. Document all services in accordance with Homewood Health standards.
Qualifications
  1. Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counselling, or a related field.
  2. At least 2 years of workplace crisis management experience.
  3. Formal training in trauma response, psychological first aid, and critical incident response (e.g., CISM, NOVA, Psychological First Aid).
  4. Registration or clinical membership with a relevant governing body.
  5. Professional liability insurance coverage of $2,000,000 or as required by Homewood Health.
  6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  7. French language skills are an asset.
  8. Availability to respond after hours periodically during the week and weekends.
  9. Strong clinical assessment, crisis management, and customer service skills.
  10. Demonstrated clinical judgment and intervention skills for traumatic workplace events.
  11. Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  12. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook).
