Qualifications

• Certificate or Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety or related certification.
• 5+ years field experience in construction or high hazard environments (Specialist).
• CRSP/CSP/CHST/CIH/ROH designation or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of Ontario workplace health and safety laws.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and health & safety reporting tools.
• Hands-on experience with field audits and inspections.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert guidance on health, safety, and environmental issues for construction projects.
• Identify hazards and advise on protective measures for projects.
• Contribute to design, planning, and operability reviews from a safety perspective.
• Lead or support health & safety assurance audits and inspections.
• Document and communicate detailed safety reports and records.
• Assist with incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Coordinate with client staff and regulatory agencies.
