Job summary

TreowGroup Recruitment, on behalf of our Niagara-based client in the construction industry, is hiring a Project Manager. The role is on-site in St Catharines with occasional travel throughout the Golden Horseshoe, Full-time, permanent.

Compensation is $100 - $125K + bonus + Health Benefits + RRSP. The ideal candidate has a degree or college diploma in Engineering or Architecture, a minimum of five years’ construction PM experience with a General Contractor, and Gold Seal status through the

Qualifications

• A degree or community college diploma in Engineering or Architecture.

Responsibilities

• Work in harmony with the Project Supervisor, each on an equal basis and reporting collectively and independently to the Partner in charge of Construction.
• Have thorough knowledge of plans and specifications relating to each project.
• Monitor and control construction progress through the administrative direction of on-site personnel to ensure each project is built on schedule and within budget.
• Prepare monthly invoices for payment certification and approve payments to subcontractors.
• Oversee final project clean-up and turnover to the Owner, including expediting certification of Substantial Performance and final holdback release.
