Job summary

Moonlite Auto Body Ltd. in Winkler, MB, is seeking a Collision Technician to repair and restore vehicles after collisions.

Qualifications

• Strong collision repair skills including panel replacement and frame repair
• Surface prep, sanding, filler, and paint prep knowledge
• Safely operate welding equipment and shop tools
• Solid understanding of vehicle construction and repair procedures
• Detail-oriented, able to follow repair orders and meet timelines
• Good communication and teamwork with painters and estimators
• Trade certification or apprenticeship preferred; equivalent experience considered
• Experience in a high-volume auto body shop preferred
• Physically capable: lifting, bending, standing for long periods
• Maintain a safe, clean, organized workspace

Responsibilities

• Repair and restore vehicles after collisions including frame and panel work
• Assess damage and replace damaged parts
• Use hand and power tools, welders, measuring systems, and diagnostics
• Follow repair estimates, manufacturer guidelines and shop procedures
• Align panels and components and perform structural and cosmetic repairs
• Maintain clean and organized workspace; meet deadlines
• Collaborate with service advisors, painters, and other technicians to deliver outcomes
