Job summary

Old Oak seeks a Building Superintendent to maintain clean, safe, and presentable buildings and to support residents with responsive service. The role emphasizes strong tenant relations and collaboration with the Property Management team.

The position requires living on-site in a rental unit provided as part of employment, along with utilities and basic amenities. There will be weekend and on-call rotation, with competitive compensation and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• One year of experience as Building Manager or similar role with on-call duties.
• High attention to detail and reliability.
• Familiarity with building systems and safety protocols.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform light maintenance.
• Police clearance check required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain strong tenant relationships and deliver superior service.
• Respond promptly to tenant requests and prospective tenants.
• Enforce landlord rules and manage common areas.
• Assist maintenance and contractors and support resident engagement.
• Provide after-hours emergency coverage as required.
