Job summary

RideCo Inc. in Waterloo, Ontario, is hiring a Business Data Analyst to work with clients in person and virtually. You will analyze transit operations data, run service simulations, and support project implementations.

You will collaborate with project managers, engineers, and client teams to drive KPIs and improvements across rider and driver experiences. The role requires 3–5 years of relevant experience, strong Excel/Office skills, and familiarity with BI tools such as Power BI.

Qualifications

• Education as listed: undergraduate degree in a relevant field.
• 3–5 years of experience as an analyst, project manager, or related role.
• Data wizard with Excel and Office tools; Power BI is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication, especially with executives.
• Team-oriented with cross-functional collaboration.
• Based in Waterloo, Ontario with travel≈15% including US travel.
• Passport/US visa required for travel.

Responsibilities

• Plan and launch client projects per timeline and coordinate stakeholders.
• Develop and implement transportation solutions leveraging RideCo platform.
• Set up, test, and tune system parameters; run simulations; train users.
• Perform ad-hoc data analyses and prepare performance reports.
• Run simulations to optimize service design andKPIs; iterate configurations.
• Provide ongoing technical analytics support and dashboard guidance.
• Drive continuous improvement and contribute to product feedback.
• Educate colleagues and document processes for knowledge sharing.
