Canada Post is seeking dependable on‑call Rural and Suburban Mail Carriers in Cornwall, Ontario. You will sort, collect and deliver mail, learn local routes, and maintain security of items while operating a vehicle in varied weather.

The position is temporary, on‑call relief with potential for upcoming permanent opportunities. A valid driver’s license and a safe driving record are required, along with English or French language ability.

Qualifications

• Satisfactory safe driving record is required.
• Valid Class 5 or G provincial driver’s license is required.

Responsabilités

• Sort, collect and deliver mail in a safe, timely manner.
• Learn local routes, roads, customers and delivery receptacles.
• Keep mail secure in the carrier’s possession.
• Process CPC products and services (Change of Address, Damaged Mail, IDB).
• Wear Canada Post ID visibly during delivery and collection.
• Lift and carry items up to 50 lb/22.7 kg.
• Deliver by motor vehicle in all weather conditions.
