Job summary

Canada Post in Saint-Bruno-du-Lac-Saint-Jean, QC is seeking an on-call Post Office Assistant to join the team. You will be the face of the counter, selling postal products, sorting mail, and helping customers with options, flexible for temporary on-call work across area.

This role requires high school diploma, customer service experience, bilingual French essential, and willingness to pass security screening. Wage is 20.54 per hour; local residents preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or provincial equivalency and/or experience in business administration.
• Experience interacting with the public in a retail or service environment, including sales and cash transactions.
• Understanding of general or post office accounting systems.
• Physical fitness to lift mail containers up to 50 lb, push or pull boxes, sort mail, and stand for extended periods.
• Flexibility to be available for temporary, on-call work as required.
• Language requirement: French Essential.
• Willingness to complete a security screening process as part of the hiring process.

• Sort, distribute, and process mail into the appropriate classifications accurately and efficiently
