A leading pulp producer in Canada is seeking a Casual Health, Safety, & Security Advisor to join their team near Athabasca, Alberta. This role involves providing medical support, conducting safety inspections, and ensuring workplace safety compliance. Qualifications

• 3 years’ experience in a paramedic or emergency rescue role.
• Understanding of Alberta OH&S regulatory compliance.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide HSS compliance interactions with team members.
• Participate in emergency response as a shift leader.
• Conduct health assessments and drug screening.
• Monitor workplace safety and perform inspections.

Skills

Hazardous Materials experience

Security experience

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders

Education

Advanced Care Paramedic (ACP), Primary Care Paramedic (PCP), or Emergency Medical Responder (EMR)

Advanced First Aid (AFA) certificate or Registered Nurse (RN)

Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
